It has been 2 years and all this time, I've managed to avoid the reality of my world.
You are never far from my thoughts and our unbreakable bonds of love and friendship have not once left my heart.
I wait for the time that I will be able to see those sparkling blue eyes, hear your contagious laughter and hold your hand once again.
I love you Nonny, MY NONNY!
Always and Forever.

Well, I'm going to be 43 years old tomorrow Nonny and not a minute goes by that I don't miss you. The world is a very cold and lonely place without you here.
Selfishly, I hope I will see you soon enough! Don't forget Mom's turning 70 on Saturday.
We love you so very much.
See you soon,
Love,
Your Dena Doll

To My Nonny,
It has almost been a year since you left me and my world has not been the same since.
You were truly my best friend, my closest confidant, biggest cheerleader and loved me unconditionally. I could only aspire to be the same to you.
You were there every day of my life and as far as I am concerned, you always will be.
I love you. You are my heart, as I was yours.
Always and forever,
Your Dena Doll

I would like to celebrate the memory of my "Auntie Simmie"
who lived a full life, shared with her husband, children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was devoted to her mother and showed concern and interest for her aunts, cousins, brother and other extended family members. I'm saddened with her passing, it seems to be the end of an era in many ways, but I will always cherish the memories I have of her being a part of my childhood, and participating in milestone events that were a part of my growing up. So whether you refered to her as Sue, Susan, Mom, or Nonnie, she will always be Auntie Simmie to me.
