Dear Jim, Ryan, Keegan, Pat, and Victor,

Not a day has gone by that I don't think of my dear friend, Susie. We had special friendship and I miss her so much. She was the most thoughtful, kind, and genuinely sweet person I have ever known and I was so lucky to have had her as a friend. She added brightness and warmth with her graceful presence.

She loved you all so much and my heart literally aches when I think of all she left behind. Susie has made me strive to be a better person and I thank her for that. She will always be loved and missed. Please know that my family and I are here for you at anytime and for anything.

With love and sympathy,
Priti Khanna Mahajan

Dear Dr. Dunphy; We were devasted today to hear about your great family tragedy.
What a loss it must be to every one who knew Susie like you knew and loved Susie. Now is the time to lean on the everlasting arms of God, who will hold you up and strengthen you, so that your boys will have someone to lean on. Our prayers and thoughts go out to you and your family. We shall miss you and your happy bouncy personality. We hope that it will return to you soon. Ray and Mary Helbert.

Susie was and still is an inspiration to all who knew her. Though we went our separate ways, I often think of Susie and I am proud to hear of her successes. I'm sure she touched countless lives, from grade school, through college, and into adulthood - she was one of a kind.
I'm very sorry for your loss, and wish you peace.

To all of Susie's family, friends and loved ones… Like Chad and Lea, I knew Susie as a classmate and friend. My mother (who worked for the school system) and I were constantly inspired by her hard work, positive spirit and wonderful sense of intellectual curiosity. We know how special she was, and we know the joy she brought to the lives of everyone she touched.

Please know that you are all in our thoughts at this difficult time. She'll be in our hearts always—and so will you, even though we may never have met.

To Dr. Dunphy, Ryan, Keegan & the Ingkanisorn family -

Susie was truly one of a kind -- the brightest, most considerate and compassionate doctor and person. She brought so much joy to our office, our staff, and her patients, many of whom are disadvantaged and who so greatly appreciated her willingness to listen to their personal stories.

She took the time to connect with each of us, always remembering the small details we had shared with her, sharing her own stories about the boys, bringing treats for everyone.

She is greatly missed & forever remembered. My thoughts and prayers are with your family.

Dear Jim, Ryan, Keegan, Patricia and Victor,
We are so sorry for your sudden, and unexpected loss of Susie. Our families have met a few times, as we are friends of Patricia and Peter and met at their wedding. My husband, Mike and I recall how kind and sweet and beautiful your family is. There must be a wonderful plan for Susie in heaven. It is inconceivable how this could have happened to her at such a young age. Having 4 children ourselves, the loss of a mom and wife must be an incredible pain. Patricia is such a wonderful person. We know that Peter and her, and your families, are there for you. We will pray that you find peace and light from your love and beautiful angel, Susie.

Susie and I were inseparable in junior high and remained close friends through high school. I have nothing but fond memories of her. I am so saddened by her loss and my heart aches for her family. She remains in my heart and you will remain in my thoughts.

Dear Jim, Ryan and Keegan,
We can't tell you how sorry we are that Susie was called to heaven so terribly soon. We know she is in heaven looking down, watching and listening to all of you. We feel so blessed to have known her and feel very proud to call her our friend. She was an amazingly thoughtful person and we will never forget how she made us a wonderful meal and showered us with gifts after we had Mollie in May. She didn't come with just a gift for the baby, she made sure nobody was left out and brought Mac, Sean, Lizzie and Tommy a little something too!
Please know that we are here for you and that we will miss her so much.
Love,
Mike, Jamie, Mac, Sean, Lizzie, Tommy & Mollie

I wake each morning thinking of Susie and each night I bow my head and give thanks for her friendship. She was my friend, a rare find and I miss her. She was so kind and gentle, a warm smile to greet you and a hug to say see you soon. We shared laughter, sometimes a tear and happily watched our children play. Know she watches you from heaven and will help guide you and the boys along the path of finding peace. God has a beautiful angel.

Jim, Ryan and Keegan, I do not have adequate enough words to express how sorry I am for you with the loss of your beloved Susie. I can never think of Susie that I do not see her bright, big smile and beautiful eyes. She always greeted me and everyone with a hug and a kind word. Whenever we were together she would follow up the next day with a lovely note of thanks and wishing me a beautful day. Susie was my calendar. I would schedule things and she would remind me that I had already booked things for that day. Susie impacted all of our lives in such a wonderful way. She made us smile and feel cared for. If there is anything that you need we will be here for you. Please know that we are praying daily for all of you. Thank you for sharing Susie with us. We are all the better for having known her.

I am proud to have called Susie a friend these past few years. We met through St. Michael School when we joined FSA together. Everytime I saw her, I was greeted with a hug and a smile. I am so grateful that just a few shorts weeks ago I, along with all the other moms from St. Mikes & our FSA group, enjoyed a few fun hours of catching up, laughing and being able to spend time with our friend Susie. When Susie arrived that night and left that night, I received my hug and smile from her that I always looked forward to. Her friendship will be missed, but her smile will live on in my heart and all of our hearts from her mom friends from St. Mikes. Susie was an angel while on this earth, and is now our angel looking down upon us all from Heaven.

Susie was one of the best residents I have ever known in 31 years of being a nurse. She was kind, caring, thorough, and smart as a whip. Who could ever forget her red lipstick, purse and beautiful smile. My heart goes out to the family... and to all of us left behind. God will welcome her with open arms.

Jim, Ryan and Keegan,
Words cannot express our feelings of sadness. Susie was a special person that comes around once in a lifetime. She is now smiling down from Heaven. She is with her Mom, Dad, and your mom, Jim. Susie will be watching over all three of you as your Guardian Angel. Heaven is so much brighter with Susie in it. We love you Jim, Ryan & Keegan. We are here for you.
Our love and sympathy,
Linda, Dave, Tim and Nicholas

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
If tears could build a stairway
And memories were a lane
We would walk right up to Heaven
And bring you back again
No farewell words were spoken
No time to say goodbye
You were gone before we knew it
And only God knows why
Our hearts still ache in sadness
And secret tears still flow
What it meant to lose you
No on will ever know
But know we know you want us
To mourn for you no more
To remember all the happy times
Life still has much in store
Since you’ll never be forgotten
We pledge to you today
A hallowed place within our hearts
Is where you’ll always stay
