Looking at my 1968 Glenbard East yearbook and found an ad in rear of yearbook for Suhail Ghattas MD, 837 Westmoor Lombard, Ill, 629-2530. Amazing and Dr Ghattas went on to Elmhurst Hospital. God Bless You Doctor. You were a medical leader!

To the Ghattas family:
I just want to let you know that I am just one of a large group of people that worked with Dr Ghattas at GlenOaks hospital and will miss him very much. I had met him as a member of the executive committee at GlenOaks. I admired his forthrightness, sense of humor and balance that he brought to the group as a senior member. I have only been in a leadership role for a short period of time and I looked to him as an example of how a leader should be. I just wanted to express my sincere condolances and to let you know that your loss is shared by many.
Sincerely,
Lisa G Wohl

I will miss this no-nonsense mentor. I will never forget his loving anger, when I drove myself to the ER (& He came, only after yelling at me)
I will remember him fondly.

My deepest sympathies to the good doctor's family and loved ones. Suhail E. Ghattas M.D. was an extraordinary doctor and a gentleman of the highest esteem. He treated me many years ago, and he improved my life 1000% for the better. He was highly recommended to me by several well known doctors, and I was able to learn a great deal from Dr. Ghattas. With his generous help, I was able to leave my past behind, and finally look forward to the future. Even though that period of my life seems several lifetimes ago, I and my children must offer our thanks to his professionalism and caring wisdom. I can still smell the tobacco from his pipe. May the Supreme Being bless you.
