Stuart Perlman Obituary
Perlman, Stuart D. beloved husband of 45 years to Avis (nee Rubin), cherished father of Ira (Lauren) Perlman, Benay (Dr. Ira) Meisels and Dr. Harris (Melissa) Perlman, loving grandfather of Samantha, Alexandra, Sarit, William, Noah, Mia and Audrey, devoted brother of Renee (Howard) Lieber. Mr. Perlman was a graduate of Columbia College and Yale Law School. He was a practicing attorney for over 47 years and a member of the Standard Club. Funeral services Wednesday, 11 a.m., at Congregation Or Torah, 3800 W. Dempster St., Skokie. Interment Jewish Waldheim Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in his name may be made to Jewish Federation of Metropolitan Chicago, Stuart D. Perlman Cancer Research Fund, 1 So. Franklin St. Chicago, IL 60606. As a young girl I remember Mr. Perlman as a great neighbor! He was always a warm person and so generous with a smile.
I will never forget how he rushed me to the hospital after a teenager ran over my hand while ice-skating.
My deepest condolances to the entire Perlman family including Avis, Ira, "Binzy" and Harris.
