Steven Scholl Obituary

Bernice – Both you and Steve have been such great friends to Barb (Mostowski) since the early days on the boulevard. There is nothing more important than friendship and love. A loving friendship that lasts for a lifetime is something to be thankful for and cherished. After the honor of marriage to Barb, you both welcomed me with open arms and warm hearts. For that I thank you. Jennifer has grown into a pleasant and joyful woman with a big heart. You and Steve have done a tremendous job raising her. My love and caring for you all will continue. God bless all of you.

It saddens me to hear of Steve's passing. I have many fond memories of the times we enjoyed working together. Bernie & Jenifer were the people Steve lived for. I'll keep Steve, Bernice, and Jennfer in my prayers. Rest in peace Brother.

I am an attorney who has worked with police officers for years, and I had the pleasure of working with Lt. Scholl. My deepest sympathies to you all. The Department has lost not only a great boss but a great man. Tamara Cummings.

I cannot express how sorry I am at your loss. Steve was a great guy. As next door neighbors I remember how he treated us as kids, bringing us league balls from the White Sox games, sparklers on the 4th of July and candy to give to us. He treated me and Mike like one of his own. I never forgot all the great things he did for us. I appreciate all the things he did for me recently too. You guys are all in my prayers daily. When I make it onto the CPD I hope I'd make Steve proud. I'm so sorry.

Steve was both an excellent boss as well as a stand up guy. I can not say enough good things about Steve. He will be missed by many of Chicago's finest. My thoughts and prayers are with his family and loved ones.

Bernice, we didn't get to know Steve as much as we would have liked to but I know your Steve was a terrific man the few times we all did talk at Peggy and Lee's 4th of July Celebration. Our sincere condolences in your time of grief and sorrow.

We can not begin to tell you both how sorry we arefor your loss. Steve was a wonderful friend to Dave. He has wonderful memories of fishing, and the cottage in Michigan. He will be missed.
