I'm sorry to Mr. Hansons family and friends for loosing him so suddenly. He was my teacher and coach this year. We would have the funniest times just making fun of eachother and i dont regret one minute of it. We're gonna go out and win this champion ship for our favorite coach just so he knows we're not done just because hes gone.

To the Hanson & Altenhoff families: Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this difficult time. We will always remember seeing Mr. Hanson at Jon's basketball games, but especially remember that he took the time to come to one of Westmont's games at last year's Lisle Thanksgiving tournament.

Mr. Hanson was my science teacher at Puffer School. He was a great teacher and was always a pleasure to see everyday. Even now as an adult I would always look forward to stopping in to school and seeing him. I was completely shocked to hear of his passing. I lost my father a few months back and I know of the pain and hurt you all must be feeling. Again I am truly sorry, he will be very missed.

Dear family and friends,
I will miss Steve. I worked with him at Lockport Area Special Education where he was a PE teacher. The kids loved him and so did the staff. He was funny, smart and just great to be around. Steve and I both started in District 202 the same year. I know he enjoyed being at Timber Ridge, and loved working with the kids and the staff. One of the great things about Steve was that he made work so much fun. I love you Steve, sincerely,Ms. Newman

Mr.Hanson was my 8th grade science teacher and a Great Great Basketball Coach at TimberRidge. I will always remember the great times during basketball season and how you were the funniest science teacher ever. You will always be in my heart and I will miss stopping by to see you at school. Having you as my science teacher and basketball coach was the best. We had great times with making projects and you helping me on it, also in basketball helping the whole team succeed in playing harder and harder.I was so glad you were my science teacher and coach. You will always be in my heart. I will miss you always.

Coach Hanson was one of a kind. He was my son Quinn's favorite coach & teacher ever!! He motivated and touched my son in such a wonderful way that neither of us will ever forget. We had many memorable & humorous times at the 8th grade basketball games. We will remember him always and send our most sincere sympathy to his entire extended family.

Steve and I go back a long way. We had grown up together. We went to school together, went camping with the scouts together, attended church together, stood up at each other's wedding, and those weekend trips to Wisconsin are a part of my youth that I miss to this day. Steve was my peer and my friend. Only time and distance have separated us for too many years. My daughters and I had the opportunity to visit, last summer, with Steve and Janet and her wonderful children. Which was an occasion I had hoped to repeat often. So his sudden passing is truly a sad and painful time.
My sympathies to Don and Pat, who were a big part of my youth; to Janet and her children, to Jon and Christina and their Mom, Maddy; to Bobby and Cheryl and their families; and Julie and Michael. You were all a part of my growing up and I have truly missed you.
