Anton (Antanavic), Steve J. age 88, born December 26, 1915 in Chicago, passed away October 28, 2004 in Bella Vista, Arkansas, formerly of Westmont and Hinsdale, son of the late Jonas and the late Barbara Antanavic, beloved husband of the late Bernice Lorraine (nee Chodzko) and the late Helen (nee Swanson), loving father of Steve L. Anton of Joliet, Stanley Anton of Palatine, Phillip and Sherman of Michigan City, Ind. and the late Gloria Stuart and Stewart Anton, cherished grandfather of Stanley Anton Jr., Mark Anton, Robert Anton, Nick Anton, Angie Anton, Danny Anton, Genny Hite, Karen Windebank, Allison Anton, Dianne Stanbury, Shari Stuart and Melissa Anton, great-grandfather of 16, dear brother of the late John Antanavic, Pauline Pasalevich, Bessie Barnauskas, Josephine Maiewski and Theodore Gaidelis. Retired Member pipefitters Local Union 597. Private services. Interment Clarendon Hills Cemetery.
