To the Zucker Family
I met Steve when I was an Assistant States Attorney in the Second Municipal District. I always enjoyed working with him and conversing with him. He and I had a few cases that we resolved. He was always professional, civil, and credible. He was an exceptional lawyer and agent. He was a pioneer in his field sports agent representation and set high standards. Steve encouraged me to take the next step in my career and move to California and practice law. He was very happy when he learned that I passed the California Bar Exam. I always enjoyed our talks about sports and politics especially his time when he was an Assistant Corporation Counsel.
.Steve was not only an exceptional lawyer and sports agent but also a first rate gentleman and family man. It is hard in todays world where there is such division, incivility, and anger to find quality people like Steve. I recently purchased his memoirs and started reading his book. It reminds me of the good man he was and how he was universally respected in both the legal profession, sports world, and business. He served his clients well .
God Bless the memory of this fine man.
Our Deepest Condolences

Steve was a counselor at All American Day Camp in Park Ridge with his friend Jim Fizdale in the 1950's. My father was the owner of All American. I was happy to read about Steve's success stories as a sports agent over the years.
It's with great sadness I read about his passing.

Steve and I first met bike riding at Greenbriar Park in 1950 while students at Clinton Grammar School and continued a lifetime of memories. We played sports through High years at Senn and later at University of Illinois. We laughed and reminisced of the old days at his house just hours before his last goodbye. He was lucid and funny and always with his remarkable memory. We loved you buddy. Bob Kushnir
