Stephen Pechman Obituary

Pechman, Stephen B.
passed away on June 4, 2010. He was born in Des Moines, Iowa July 31, 1944. He worked for many years at Bankers Trust in Des Moines Iowa. He moved to Nevada in 1985 and then to Phoenix in 1999. He retired from his position as Safety Manager for Gothic Landscaping in October 2006. Stephen loved fishing, hunting and shooting skeet at the Ben Avery Shooting Range. He enjoyed hiking and bike riding and sharing his coffee and toast with his 3 pups, Cody, Wally and Jakie. He was also a movie buff and enjoyed sharing his extensive movie collection with family and friends. He loved his family and was very proud of his three children. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. He was preceded in death by his father Maynard W. Pechman. Stephen is survived by his wife Kathy, children Natalie Simple, Stephanie (Allen) Crosby and Jason (Jenna) Pechman, mother Lucille and brothers Douglas (Bonnie), Phillip (Maureen) Pechman and 2 grandchildren. Visitation will be held on Friday, June 11 from 4:00 to 7:00 pm at Hansen Desert Hills Mortuary, 6500 E. Bell Road, Scottsdale, AZ. Funeral Mass to be held on Saturday, June 12 at 9:30 at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, 11300 N. 64th Street, Scottsdale, AZ. Burial will follow at Hansen Desert Hills Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to the Arizona Humane Society. To send the family online condolences, please visit www.hansenmortuary.com.
