Dear Sue, Jan and Tom:
Your dad was the most kind, warm, and friendly person. Each time he would see you he would greet you with his wonderful smile, a warm embrace and kiss. He made everyone he met feel like you were special. I remember coming back from a graduation party and Uncle Steve was with us. We stopped in a cemetery on Archer Road where we saw some deer walking among the graves. He commented how much he was touched by the beauty of their gracefulness. He appreciated and reverenced all of God's creation.I will always remember the big smile, wave and kisses he blew to me from across the church when he saw me. I'm blessed to have had the opportunity to have lunch with Uncle Steve for the last time. We will all miss him dearly. May God grant you strength and courage during the days ahead.
Love, Elaine and Mike
