To the dear Malato Family: I am writing on behalf of my Mother in Wausaukee and my brothers and sisters. We all have many loving and warm memories of summers "up North." With all the Malato children and all the Wontor children in one place - it was indeed chaotic at times. Today we sit back and laugh about those lovely summer days. Your parents were the most wonderful people. I enjoyed many afternoons sitting and talking with your Mother about trips to Europe and books we have read. I remember when your Father wrote a glowing letter for me when I applied for my first job in Chicago. They are both missed - very much. It was such a pleasure having known both of them.

Kindest regards.

How sad, yet consoling are the memories of Uncle Steve and our families growing up together. Your dad and grandfather has a special place in my heart. After so many years, he would have a warm and loving hello. Our parents taught us the meaning of lifelong friendships and we are grateful for that gift. You are in my thoughts and prayers.
