I'm so very sorry on the loss of your son/brother. I first met Steve when I transferred to Sutherland in the 8th grade. Leaving all my friends I've grown up with was very hard but Steve was one of few guy's who made it easy for me. He will always be remembered as a nice guy. It was always nice seeing him after grade school. My thoughts and prayers are with you all during this difficult time.

I had the privilege of attending WIU with Steve he was a great person and touched the lives of many people. My thoughts and prayers are with Beck family. RIP Steve you will truly be missed

I met Steve this summer for a short while and right away I could tell he was a very personal person and easy going.He emulates the entire Beck family and shows class and courage that is hard to find these days. I was friends with Peggie for years and met Steve while working at Sox Park. When he introduced himself I realized he was her brother. We initially hit it off knowing alot of the same people. He was a great person and we always had great conversations. Always talked about his family and his work ethic he had from his dad ( I believe roofing). I ran into him here and there after Sox park and we always picked right up where we left off. He always put a smile on my face. Your family is in my prayers. He will be missed.
