Stan and I talked and/or emailed a lot over the years and even more during his illness. We emailed back and forth the day before he passed. I wondered why he had gone quiet. Then over my last email to him, one of the SVD informed me he had passed. I have know him since we were Freshmen at the SVD Seminary in Perrysburg. He was a good man.
