Fr. Stanley Uroda, SVD, passed away March 18, 2021. Loving son of the late Joseph & Julia Uroda. Devoted brother of Antoinette (William) Alwin, Dorothy (the late David) Alwin, and Mary (William) Seder. Loving uncle to 6 nieces and nephews, 9 grand nieces and nephews. Visitation Monday, March 22, 10 a.m. until time of Funeral Mass, 11:00 a.m. at St. Joseph the Worker, 181 W. Dundee Road, Wheeling, IL 60090. Interment St. Mary Cemetery, Techny, IL. In lieu of flowers, a memorial gift may be sent for the education and formation of missionaries payable to: Divine Word College- "Uroda-Schumacher Trust", 102 Jacoby Dr. SW, P.O Box 380, Epworth, IA 52045-0380. Stan and I talked and/or emailed a lot over the years and even more during his illness. We emailed back and forth the day before he passed. I wondered why he had gone quiet. Then over my last email to him, one of the SVD informed me he had passed. I have know him since we were Freshmen at the SVD Seminary in Perrysburg. He was a good man.
