Dear Peca Family,
I just heard of Stan's passing today from my Aunt Jeanne. I'm so sorry for your loss. One of my last favorite memories of my Dad was taking him out to 107th and LaGrange to watch Stan and others fly their beloved airplanes. My Dad loved to go out there to watch and on Fathers Day 2005 that's what we did per his request. It was my Dad's last Father's Day and he enjoyed every minute talking with Stan and just hanging out for the day.

"So, you dating anybody?" If I had a dime for every time Uncle Stas asked me that I'd be a rich woman today. I'll think of him and miss him this year at the Bucks for Burn Camp Softball Tournament. Even when Chris wasn't umping, Uncle Stas would show up. The last time my friend spotted him before me. "Here comes your uncle." It made me feel special. Chris, Jeff and Linda, your dad will never be forgotten and will always lovingly be remembered.

Chris, Jeff & Lynda,

My earliest memory of Uncle Stas is him putting me on his lap and letting me drive his car from your house to ours. He worked the pedals and let me "steer."

What a dear, sweet man. I have nothing but fond memories of him.

God rest his soul.

Uncle Stas was a special guy. He was my great-great-uncle, and he had lots of stories to tell. One spring while I was in high school, Uncle Stas came to visit Aunt Alice in Palm Springs at the same time my mom, my brother, Grandma Marcy and I were visiting. I had to do an interview project about World War II for a project for school, and Uncle Stas told some incredible stories about his time flying planes during the war!

In more recent years, my brother Steven and I loved to sit with Uncle Stas during family parties while he regaled us with tales of whatever projects he was working on. Uncle Stas will be truly missed by everyone who knew him. He was a wonderful person to have in our lives.

Stan was loved by so many. He always had you guessing what his next project was. "See if you can figure it out, go ahead I'll wait" he'd say. From the tiny desks, reindeers, candles, golfball doggies....If he saw it, he could copy it and make it better.
I worked with him for many many years, he refferred to me as "Baby Doll". I'll miss hearing those words!
I know he's with his beloved Fran. My thoughts and prayers go out to the Peca Family.
May you be at Peace Stan.

Our heart felt sympathy goes to the entire family. Stanley was a kind and caring man. My daughter refers to him as Mr Jeff's Dad, the golfball dog maker, his small acts of kindness will live on in all our hearts.
