So sad to hear of Stanley´s death. I was honored to have known him and he always gave out great advice to up and coming event industry people, competition or not. What a true legend he was. RIP sir. You built a cult following for sure

Stanley did the cocktail parties for World Famous Sales, where my dad Barry was Vice President, at the Continental Plaza. I was to young to attend, but I heard about them. I knew they were very good friends. When I got engaged 37 years ago on a Friday night, my mother placed a call to Stanley & we had the entire wedding planned at The Continental Plaza, which was now The Westin, in one phone call.
I have very fond memories of all the "Stanley" stories.
I´m so happy he had a long, full life. May he Rest In Peace.

The company I have been running for 30+ years would have never survived and grown as large as it has if it weren't for Stanley and Weddings, Inc. Switching his business from our competition in New York and giving it to us in Chicago put AR-EN on the national map and gave us the credibility to get other big customers. Even in the last years of his retired life I could count on him to show up annually in his Jaguar and ask for a tour. I will forever be grateful to Stanley and will miss him dearly.

Stanley was the Best!!! he was always smiling always made you feel comfortable ... I don´t know how many times I would see him while I was walking down the street and he would be driving by and asked me if I wanted a ride. He did my wedding, and it was absolutely gorgeous. He was gracious and kind and funny and just the best. Wendy, John and the rest of your families I am so so sorry for your loss.

Stanley was fun, sweet, loving, kind and generous. He LOVED his family so much. He enjoyed going out to dinner and we were able to enjoy spending time with him on a few occasions. He was talented and lived life to the fullest. His love of life and kindness to others showed - even to the very last minute of his life. I feel blessed to have known him and grateful for the times I was able to share with him. He is definitely someone that will be remembered by many as the caring and loving gentle man that he was.

Stanley was a great mentor to me when I started in the wedding industry back in 1988. He and Chuck were the best of the best.

Stanley "did" our wedding in 1974. My parents were so impressed by his having The Drake Hotel on speed dial! He was a wonderful shepherd through the details of having a formal wedding; I learned so much from him about hosting a celebration. Baruch Dayan haEmet.

Stanley was a true legend. He was the original party planner extraordinaire of Chicago. Everyone looked up to Stanley and learned so many life lessons from him. He was a true gentleman and a friend. He truly changed the way parties were celebrated in Chicago. He will be missed by all whose lives he touched.
May he rest in peace.
