Briskin, Sophye J. (nee Kaplan), 88, beloved wife of the late Lester Briskin. Retired Chair, Briskin Manufacturing Co., Chicago. Former member Hillcrest Country Club, Long Grove, devoted mother of Richard Briskin, Dennis Briskin (Dr. Trudy Hartman) and the late Lawrence Briskin, loving grandmother of Juliet, Joshua, Sonya, Joseph, Jacob, Mariana, James and Susan Briskin. Funeral services Monday, 9:30 a.m. at The Piser Chapel, 9200 N. Skokie Blvd. (at Church St.), Skokie. Interment Westlawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please make memorial contributions in Sophye's name to the charity of your choice. Info. Our very deepest condolences on the loss of your beloved mother and grandmother. She was a lovely lady, and we hope that all your beautiful memories will help to make this difficult time a little easier. Recent surgeries for both of us preclude our visiting with you in person, but our sympathies are with you all.
