Werner, Sophie Senelick (nee Silverstein), beloved wife of the late Charles Werner and John Senelick, loving mother of Marcia (Allen) Comyns, Faith (Bernie) Monkarsh and the late Bernard Senelick, cherished grandmother of 12, fond great-grandmother of 13, many loving nieces, nephews and friends. Graveside services Monday, 10 a.m., at Shalom Memorial Park Cemetery (Section IV), 1700 Rand Rd., Arlington Heights. In lieu of flowers and memorials in her memory to American Diabetes Association, 30 N. Michigan Ave., Suite 2015, Chicago, IL, 60602, would be appreciated. Former Kosher Caterer in Chicago. Sophie was a loving gentle soul, with a warm hug and a dry sense of humor. She liked salt almost as much as I do and was never afraid to send food back, because it wasn't made to her liking. She has been a part of my family for the past 27 years. My love and thoughts go out to her family at this time.
May she rest in peace.
