Till we meet again, my mother, your teachings will always be engrained in my life. Your spirit envelopes me. An angel next to me. Love,kindness,understanding, and forgiveness were your creed that you passed on to those around you. Thank you for that!

My mother, my teacher, the person I want to emulate..Sophie was all good things to me. She taught her children well and gave us our faith in Jesus Christ. She'll always be with me. An angel among us!

Sweet lady whose wise teachings will always be with me.

Dear Mama: I wish you could be here in person for Ruth's wedding. I know you are here in spirit...an angel among us!

August 15th is here. Sophie & Henry were married on this day 78 years ago. Thoughts are constant of their caring and sacrifices. Angels among us--love surrounds us!

Thoughts of Mom & Dad are constant as their birthdays are upon us. Happy childhood memories flood my mind--now they are together again and are angels among us.

As your birthday approaches, I miss you more and more. I know that you're watching over the family as our family is growing with weddings and the upcoming birth of your first great, great grandchild. We are all so blessed to have had you as a lifelong example to each of us, showing us hard work, perseverance, love of family and love of our faith. Happy Birthday, Mom! I love you!

Summer is officially here and thoughts of Mom are constant. I think of her wisdom everyday and remember her teachings.

Just as the warm weather of June envelope us -- thoughts of Mom's warmth and love envelope me. I am so grateful.

Today on Memorial Day my thoughts go to my mom and her sacrifices for her family. She gave her whole life for her husband, her children, her mother, and her sister--constantly thinking of others instead of herself. I'm grateful for her!

Thinking of you on this first Moters Day without you. Thank you for teaching your daughters and granddaughters to follow in your footsteps of motherhood. You were a wonderful example! I miss you everyday and I love you!

May 11th--a happy time with Mom at my wedding 29 years ago. Mom taught me well, especially trust in Jesus. I trust that now my mama is seeing the face of Jesus and is happy. An angel among us!

Mother's Day is here, and my mind is overflowing with memories of Mama--her wisdom, her understanding, her kindness--I am so blessed! Thank you, Mom!

On our first Easter Sunday without you it dawned to a beautiful morning, it made my heart happy to know that you are with The Lord, happy! Miss you everyday but am so grateful that you taught all of your children and grandchildren about strong faith. I love you Mom!

Jesus Christ's Resurrection--a glorious day--envisioning Mom in Paradise--a glorious thought! An angel among us!

Flowers are blooming, birds are chirping, sun is shining, warmth comes again--reminding me of Mom's warmth and sunny disposition.

With the beginning of Lent and time to think about renewing our commitment to live a life of kindness, thoughts constantly go back to Mom. Mom always told us to be kind and to do the right thing. Thanks, Mom, for that teaching---it feels good.

Valentine's Day--those we love are in our thoughts. Mom's love, kindness, and her caring for others will always be in my thoughts.

Something happened the other day and my first thought was, Oh I have to call mom to tell her. Sad that I wasn't able to call you, but happy to realize that no matter what happens, you already know! Miss you so much!

I think about this sweet lady everyday and feel her around me--and thus, remember her teachings.

Start of the new year without Mom, but with wonderful memories of her. Thoughts of Mom are constant--remembering her teachings and striving to attain goodness of heart, which Mom lived.

The first Christmas without Mom---thoughts are strong of her happiness now in the presence of Jesus--

Miss my sweet and kind mother! If we had just half of her kindness, it would be a wonderful world!

Such a sad loss. She and Uncle Henry helped my mother with many kindnesses after my father, George Michalski, was killed while fighting a fire in 1941. It was Uncle Henry who identified Dad's body. Aunt Sophie was kind and caring to my mother Alice especially. She and Uncle Henry visited our home every New Year's day for a special dinner my mother Alice prepared. Aunt and Uncle brought toys for Floyd and me in the early years. Uncle Henry entertained us at the dinner table with great stories of his varied and honorable Chicago police work. Aunt Sophie had a gentle voice while Uncle Henry's voice boomed. My deepest sympathy at her passing.

Thinking of Mom everyday and remembering her kindness and understanding--

A caring lady with a wonderful, sunny disposition---miss her warm smile!

Sophie was indeed a kind, generous, understanding, and easy-going Mother who taught us well. I thank God everyday for such a Mother!!

A lady of the highest quality--A lady with the kindest heart--so happy this lady was part of my life!

Sophie had a kind heart, always thinking of others. She took care of her children, took care of her mother, took care of her sister, and now, God is taking care of her with the greatest reward.

I miss you on my birthday, Mama--I'll try my best to follow your teachings because you, Mom, were my best Teacher.

Kind-hearted lady who never gossiped. She was wonderful!

Lovely lady with a kind heart!!

We were blessed to have her for so many years. She showed us all how to love unconditionally and to have eternal faith. We will miss her everyday and will love her forever!
