Dear Family:
Just heard of Sofie's passing at Church today. My father, Henry Clemens, was your father's cousin. Being from the Back of the Yards neighborhood, we admired Sofie's bridal shop and work she did. We bought our special dresses there. I remember as a little girl attending her daughter's wedding knowing Sophie had designed and sown the intricate gown. I used to see her at Mass occasionally and we would talk. She was very sweet and loved family. It is good to know extended "family" exists at St. Dennis.
Wishing you and yours all good things and God's peace during this sad time for you.
So sorry I missed the wake and funeral Mass. I will pray for her and your family. Me and my husband, Steven, are part of the Healing Prayer Ministry. We frequent the 9:15 Mass and pray with people before the 11:00 Mass. I would love to meet you.
