Ruth joins me in extending our most sincere condolances. Sig was a true gentleman in every sense of the word and we admired him greatly. We know that words are very inadequate at times like these but we do want you to know that our thoughts are with you.

Dear Mrs. Mannheimer and Family,
I've seen Mr. Mannheimer on only a few occassions, each one as pleasant as the next. I will always remember him as a kind and gracious man. My dad, Al Kaspar, worked with him at Central Meat for many years, and always spoke very fondly of him. May your happy memories and his joyful spirit help you through this difficult time. Our condolences to the Mannheimer Family.

We are having a Billings, Billings and Kernis vacation on the East coast. Mother told us the sad news last night when we called home. We are so very sorry and you will hear from us on our return.
We always loved seeing Sig and hearing his wonderful take on things. He will be missed by so many. Love and hugs from Helaine and Arthur

Dear Eleanor and Family,
Our deepest condolences to you and your family on the lost of "Siggy" as I remember hearing my dad refer to him. He has been a long time card playing buddy of my dad Erich as well as a good friend. I remember first meeting him while my dad was in the hospital for bypass surgery and appreciated his caring nature. May all your special memories help you through this difficult time.
Thinking of you,
Susan and Larry Branman

Dear Eleanor, Jodi, and Family,
My deepest condolences and sympathy; the world is a better place because of Sig. I was lucky enough to get to know Sig through Jodi's husband, Chris, and I love his stories at family gatherings and Thanksgiving. He made me feel welcome when I moved to Chicago. I will never forget that; Sig will be sorely missed.
Love and Loyalty always,
Michael J. DiLauro

I have known Sig since his daughter, Dale, and I were in 7th grade. It was always so much fun going over to Dale's house because Sig was so funny and a joy to be around. As the parents of friends, Sig was truly one of the my favorites! But of course he was Mr. Mannheimer then!
