Parsons, Shirley M. age 65, of Madison, WI and formerly of Lake Geneva, passed away on Wednesday, November 11, 2009 at St. Marys Hospital, after a courageous battle with H1N1, Pneumonia, and Lupus. She will be loved and missed by her eight children, Sandra, Laura, John, Rhonda, Brenda, James, Melinda, Jason, and their families, 17 grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, her brother, Harold Johannesen, and sister, Nancy Bengford, her best friend, Alberta, and other dear friends. Shirley was preceded in death by her parents, Harold Sr. and Ila (Clary) Johannesen. It was Shirley's wishes that a casual (comfy/jeans...) memorial service be held to celebrate her life at ALL FAITHS FUNERAL CHAPEL, 4058 Lien Rd., Madison, WI on Sunday, November 15, 2009 at 12:30 p.m. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Sunday, from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service.
