In the few years I had the pleasure to know you, you showed me what a beautiful person you were. I will miss our e-mail notes and the wonderful hospitality you gave Millie and I when we came north. May G-- keep you and bless you. Fondly , Sam

My dear sister Shirley, you were a sister to me not a sister in law. You will be in my thoughts always. Millie

Aunt Shirley, what a WARM, CARING, GIVING, & NURTURING woman. She faced her illness 'head-on'& made others feel comfortable in her presence in spite of this horrific disease.
Uncle Joe, Madelyn, Ronna, Janice, & Sammy, may G-d watch over all of you and may you find comfort in knowing that I'm thinking of you and send good thoughts and prayers your way.
xoxo's,
Arlene

Shirley Rose, you will be missed! God bless your family. Our yearly reunions will not be the same without you. I still remember very clearly the time you made the best fried chicken we ever had. Everyone knows you taught Amy and Margie to cook, and what great cooks they are now. I know you will be looking down on us and smiling everytime we go to popeyes and say your chicken is so much better. We miss you dearly. love Leroy
