Shirley Berc Obituary
Berc, Shirley Fadim (nee Meyerovitz), age 90, beloved wife of Harold T. Berc and the late Sidney R. Zatz, former wife of the late Nathan A. Fadim, adoring mother of James B. "Jamey" (Melissa Sage) Fadim, proud grandmother of Kimberly Blake Fadim, dear step-grandmother of Abby, Adam, Emily and Amanda Booth, beloved sister of Marian (the late Victor) Bloom, and the late Edith (the late Sanford) Berg. She will be missed by many nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends whom she adored with all her heart. Former mother-in-law of devoted Helen Zell. Her signature red heart will be missed by many. Graveside services Friday, 2 p.m. at Memorial Park Cemetery, 9900 Gross Point Road, (Section Anshe Emet), Skokie, IL. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her name to the Chicago Symphony Orchestra Association, 220 South Michigan Ave., Chicago, IL, 60604-2508. Shirley Fadim Berc was a 2nd mom to me in elementary school. She was a lovely, sweet kind and wise person who made a lasting and positive impression on my life. I have and will miss her.

Terry, Elizabeth, and I offer our sympathy for your loss. Grandma Shirley has always held a special place in our hearts for her kindness and generosity to our entire family, but especially Elizabeth.
