Sheldon was a really great neighbor and friend. He was always upbeat and positive - a real joy to be around. We used to chat "over the fence" many many times. Our love, prayers & condolences to Eva, Allen, Reene, Bruce and all the grandchildren and great grandchildren. He will see you all in heaven one day.

Dear Eva,

Although we lost contact with your family when we moved out of State I will always remember Sheldon. The Turetzky and the Meshberg seniors were very close for a lot of years. My heartfelt condolences to you and your family.

I was sorry to learn of my cousins death. I always enjoyed the conversations I had with him when I was younger.

Sheldon was a longtime friend, first as a member of the BCCA, and later with the Skedder Chapter. He was a most generous individual, always willing to help out a fellow collector, be it a novice or advanced collector. He helped organize both beer can and schedule trades, and often opened his home to collectors. Whenever I saw him at a trade session, he always asked: "What do you need? Take it." I'll miss trading with him, both in person and by mail, but more, I'll miss him as a good friend. My condolences go out to Eva and his entire family.

Our deepest sympathy to Sheldon's family and friends. We have had the sincere pleasure of knowing Shelly for many years via BCCA meetings and sked trading. His kindness and thoughtfulness were just a couple of the things that made him stand out above the rest. Sheldon you will be missed by many who's hearts you have touched.

I was very saddened to hear about Sheldon's passing. He was a wonderful skedder who I wish I could have met. My condolences to the whole family.

So terrible to lose touch with family. I just heard from cousin janet about cousin Shelly.Such a beautiful and special person in every aspect of his life. My heart goes out to Eva and all the extended family. Cousin Renee

My condolences go out to the Meshberg family. I never met Sheldon in person, but have traded many schedules with him. He was a very wonderful and caring person to trade with, and I shall miss our usual baseball trades.*smile*

Sheldon was one of the first people I ever traded schedules with. He was a great guy and will be really missed.

We are so very sorry to hear of your loss.......we know how hard you all fought to delay this day....and how loving your family has been. We know Sheldon will always remain with you, in your hearts.

While I only knew Sheldon via the schedule collecting shows in the

Chicago area and local sked trades, he was one terrific guy.



Sheldon convinced me on the phone to attend the Chicago Sked meeting 3 years ago and I was hooked on the hobby.



He will be remembered everytime I make a sked trade!

God's blessings to you Eva and the family. Sheldon was a schedule trading partner of mine. Everytime we communicated thru e-mails he was always a true gentlemen. He will be deeply missed. One thing for sure....he is in God's arms today.

I think it says everything about Sheldon that he touched so many of us all across the country. I know that I am glad to have known him. He seemed like such a genuinely nice person, the kind that makes this world a better place. Thanks for your friendship Sheldon. I will miss seeing your mail in my box.

My condolences to the family and friends of Sheldon.I never met him in person, but traded sports schedules with him often.He was truly a generous person.May he go on to the new life with our Heavenly Father and receive many great awards we should all hope for.Thanks Sheldon.God Bless you and your family.

I am sorry to hear about Sheldon, We did have a few trade together. I will always remember the care in his letters and the his package.

My sincerest condolensces go out to all of the Meshberg family! For many years Sheldon was a trusted friend in the schedule collecting commnity, and true all around good guy! He would do anything for anyone in the hobby, and that's one of the many things we will remember him for. Though

never having had the chance to meet him in person, his generosity

was always appreciated. As the ultimate honor to one of the greats of skedding, it has been suggested that the annual Chicago schedule meet be re-named the Sheldon Meshberg sked show. I can think of nothing more fitting! God Bless all in the Meshberg family!

It is with sadness that I write this. Shel and I never met. We did trade a little. But I always remembered the care in his letters and the extra touch he gave. God bless him and his loved ones.
