Shelby Tutterow Obituary
Graveside service will be at 2:00 pm on March 26, 2013 at Westminster Gardens Cemetery.
A native of Moore County, Mrs. Tutterow attended Biscoe High School, was a member of the Centenary United Methodist Church and was employed by Costello Hill and Company for 20 years.
Mrs. Tutterow was preceded in death by her husband Richard Leroy Tutterow, parents Robert and Alsie Williamson Brower and her brother Gary Brower.
Surviving is her son Robert "Eddie" Tutterow of Greensboro, daughter Phyllis Benton and her husband Trent of High Point; sisters Shirley Hetrick of Grantsville, MD, Rebecca Tucker of Star, NC, brother Robert Brower of Star, NC, grandchildren Anders Benton, Joshua Benton and Matthew Benton.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice and Palliative Care of Greensboro, 2500 Summit Avenue, Greensboro, NC 27405.
The family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to Hospice and Palliative Care for the compassionate care Mrs. Tutterow received.
Hanes-Lineberry N. Elm Street Chapel is assisting the family.

Sorry to hear of Shelby's passing, my prayers are with all of you. I worked with Shelby several years ago and she was a special person. I never heard her speak bad of anyone and was always willing to work and help when needed. I have fond memories of her and her Camero that everyone wanted to buy. Jean Stofanik

I worked with Shelby for 20 years and my fondest memories of her were of us working in the files during the summer. It was very dull and boring, but we told each other stories (some of them true) and laughed and laughed. That's how I'll always remember Shelby.

shelby pasted away on Friday 22,2013she was one of my best friends. We would go to Your House and sty of hours trying to solve all our problems. Shelby was a smart women,she could do anything. She had a green thumb,she would revive half dead plants and bring them back to life. I am sorry that I did not visit more, after Eddie came to take care of you, I knew you were in good hands. God looked after you with such loving family.Thanks to Phyllis and Eddie you were great care givers. Shelby I will always cherish the times we had together. Love You, Dianne
