Sharon Schumacher Obituary

Schumacher, Sharon Lynn 65, a longtime resident of Westchester, IL, passed away November 18, 2011. She was born in Plainfield, IL on June 13, 1946. Beloved daughter of Bernice (nee Frieh) and the late Charles Schumacher. Loving sister of Carole Ory and the late Joanne Baker-Kobel. Dear aunt of Lee Baker, Ken Ory and Charles and Fred Baker. Fond great-aunt of Stephanie Hylin (nee Mazurowski) and Matthew Mazurowski, and great-great aunt of Allison Hylin. Sharon was a lifelong Chicago Bears fan and an avid sportswoman, particularly skiing, golfing and fishing. After receiving her BA in Education from George Williams College, she had careers in Teaching and Risk Management. Sharon was also a member of the Ladies of the Moose Lodge, Naperville. Visitation will be Monday, November 21, 4:00 until 9:00 PM at the Friedrich-Jones Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Naperville. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, November 22, 11:00 AM at SS Peter & Paul Catholic Church, 36 N. Ellsworth, Naperville. Sharon was my youngest cousin on Bernice's (Frieh)family side. Since I have been living in other states since Sharon was 14, I have seen little of her since but do have memories of a very active happy girl. My thoughts,
