Conrath, Sharon M. (nee Wesselhoff) Age 64, of Joliet, IL and formerly Oak Lawn, IL passed peacefully Saturday March 17, 2018 surrounded by her family at Presence St. Joseph Medical Center. She was born November 25, 1953 in Chicago, IL and attended Bogan High School. Beloved wife of 22 years to John Conrath; loving mother of Matthew (Melissa) Walker, Katie Conrath (fiance Stephen) and Paul (Beth) Bonk; devoted "Nana" of Penelope and Ally Bonk; dearest daughter of Dorothea A. (Wesselhoff) Marr; fond sister of Eddie (Annie) Wesselhoff, the late Kathryn (Ronald) Oedy and the late Larry Wesselhoff; dear sister-in-law of Barbara LaMorte, Greg Conrath, Larry (Linda) Conrath and Tim (Jeanie) Conrath; cherished aunt of Cassandra (John) Christiansen, Marta Wesselhoff, Graham Wesselhoff, Chris Oedy, the late Jason Oedy; Larry (Brooke) Conrath, Claire Conrath and Kate (Kris) Myczek. Sharon recently retired from the Oak Lawn Park District after 28 years of dedicated service. She enjoyed motorcycle riding and traveling, however her greatest joy was being around family and friends. Funeral services for Sharon Conrath will be held Tuesday, March 20, 2018 at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, 3200 Black Rd. (at Essington Rd.) in Joliet where all friends and relatives can gather from 4:00 p.m. until services begin at 8:00 p.m. As it was Sharon's request cremation rites will be accorded following her services.
