I knew Sean when we went to school together at UIC. We would sometimes travel to and from school together because we lived not too far from each other. We had a lot of fun times with our fraternity and sorority friends both on and off campus. Sean was always up for anything and didn’t miss out on any hijinks. Beneath his “wise guy” exterior, Sean was a tender and caring friend. I haven’t seen him in many years, but the world is a bit less bright and colorful knowing that he is no longer in it. He will be missed.

My beloved friend, you will be sorely missed. We went through good times and bad times, and through it all you were a true friend. Those that got to know you were truly blessed. Those that didn't missed out. If only more people like you existed the world would be a much better place. You are in a better place. I love you.

My friend, I will miss you tremendously. We never got our caps or cubs game, but at least we shared the cubs world series win! Rip.

I am so saddened by this tremendous loss for us all. Sean’s beloved family and all his friends, colleagues, and students are in my thoughts and prayers.
Sean was a wonderful friend who gave the best hugs, made me laugh, and was passionate about his family, friends, and work. He got this White Sox fan to become a Cubs fan as well. It helped that we met in the summer of 2016.
It was a joy to watch the Trinity softball games at Triton. He truly loved coaching and teaching. My best memory of Coach Daly occurred while he was coaching the Beecher boys basketball team in 2017/17. Go Bobcats! The other team made a big run and Sean just said “Full time out. All starters back in”.
Sean was pure joy during Christmas time. The man knew how to decorate and he enjoyed getting help from his nieces Shel and Cass during the annual operation outdoor joy. He was a fun and proud uncle and it was a joy to be with him and Paul at Wrigley for a game that had many Cubs homers so lots of dancing. Sean and his sister Dee were fun to watch as you could tell how much they loved each other- both brilliant and funny. Much of that is due to Donna, a loving and beautiful mom. They all made a good team.
Finally, he was a wonderful dad dog. He was so good to my dog Cody. Except, he did get the little white dog hooked on Big jacks jerky - had to be teriyaki flavor. I loved coming into the room seeing Sean and Cody on the couch sharing a package of jerky. Adorable.
I am grateful that we had the time we had with him but mourn that he is gone way to soon. Yet I have no doubt that we will all be carrying him with us in our hearts.
