Scott Feaman Obituary

Dear Mr. Feaman, you were an excellent Principal at Lake View High School in Chicago.

I respected your work and your mostly equitable treatment of teachers, Mr. Feaman. You gave me my first opportunity to teach English In Chicago.
If there is a heaven, may you rest in peace.

You were a good human being, and Principal at LVHS.

Linda, please accept and extend to your family my deepest sympathies at your loss. I was shocked and saddened to hear of his passing. I first knew Scott on the interview circuit for aspiring CPS principals; later became his colleague in the same Southwest Side school district; and, had many a good time socializing as friends after the day's work was done. He will be truly missed by many.

The staff of the American Cancer Fund at www.AmericanCancerFund.org is sorry to hear of Scott's passing. We have received a memorial donation in his name and our sincere condolences go out to his family.

Feaman family: I'm so very sorry for your loss. Scott was one of my frat brothers at NIU. An all around terrific guy. A real gentleman with a great sense of humor and very modest about his football accomplishments. Golfed with him just a few short months ago. Prayers for Scott and his family.

Scott was my fraternity brother at Northern Illinois University; we had lots of laughs and great times together. He was my frat brother, good friend, and a good human being. He will be greatly missed.

I had the honor and pleasure to work along side Mr. Feaman as a member of Lakeview HS's LSC. He was one of the good guys. A gentleman who had a passion for excellence in education and demonstrated this rare quality everyday. Your final grade: Heaven.

Mr. Feaman gave me the opportunity to teach ESL and English at Lake View High School. It my first teaching position in the U.S. and was most grateful. LVHS was a wonderful school, which he ran very well.

One of the most solid guys I ever met - in more ways than one. There's a hole in the world with Scott gone.

Mr. Feaman hired me for my first teaching job, supported my passion for a Drama program, and encouraged me when I wanted to pursue a career in teaching abroad. I taught at LVHS for 12 years, and always appreciated his efforts to make Lake View a warm and welcoming place.
