Just A note to tell the family how much I appreciated Leora's help in working on the Durfee family genealogy and helping to get the work done. She and her mother were an insporation for many people. By the way, I still have lots of work to do if any of you want to help in doing the Temple work. Much love to the family at this special time of graduation from this life. Dear family,
I was totally unprepared when I read about your mom's passing. She was a such an overwhelming influence is so many lives. She never tried to be, she just was. I know the Lord will bless you and is blessing each and every one of you. Losing your mom is such a life altering event. Things are in such a state here that I am unable to get to the funeral and its tearing me apart. All I can do is express my love to you as a close friend and neighbor and let you know that my heart and my thoughts are with you there today. If one of you would send me a program of the services, I would really appreciate it. You children have been a great blessing to your parents. Just continue with the values that you have been taught and shown by their example. Much love to all of you.
