Dear Family of Sara Walters, my name is Gayle and I worked with Alice at WUAB TV-43 for 5 1/2 years in the late `70s & early `80s. While searching for her twin daughters to let them know how much I loved and appreciated everything their mother taught me...I discovered that Sara had transitioned. I´m greatly saddened by this news and would like to offer my condolences to the family. I think of Alice every April 19th and wanted you to know how I hold her close in my heart. Take care and God Bless!

Dear Family,

I was very sorry to hear of Sally's sudden death. She was a very cheerful part of a group at Gilda's Club and we had a lot of fun times there together. I will miss her very much.

Sally was a good friend, and I miss her already. It hurts to know I'll never hear her voice on the phone again. I can only take comfort in knowing that she isn't suffering anymore. She taught me so much about being a loyal friend and about engaging fully with life. My thoughts and prayers go out to her family and friends. We'll all miss her very much.

Dear Susan, Sara Beth & Rodney,
I can't begin to tell you three how sad I am that Sally is gone! We called each other regularly on Saturday nights. She sounded in good spirits on 7/12 but I was concerned when I could not reach her this past Saturday. I left several messages... Sally was so very good about responding to friends that I really was distraught. You know I've known Sally for what seems like `forever'. We had a lot of adventures in Chicago and kept in touch when I left. I was able to have lunch with her and see her new apt just this past April. Of course she paid for everything! I've lost a good friend! Ruth

Dear Susan,
I wish to say how sorry I am to hear of your sister's passing. Although I haven't seen either of you in many years I do remember you and your parents from Hamilton Ave. I have called Judy and notified her of Sally's passing and she will be getting hold of you.
