Some of my best memories were those in Maxwell Gardens growing up with Tommy & "Tay". Diet Rite Cola, Carmel Squares, and labeling bottle tops for Millners Dairy. Gonna miss my second Mom.

I was so sorry to hear of Sara's passing. My late mother, Sarah Furr, spoke of her so often and so dearly. I know that Second Church will also feel the loss of such a sweet lady. Our hearts and prayers are with you and your family.

Taylor and Tommy, I was terribly sorry to hear about your mother's passing. She was a very good friend of my late mother's -- and she taught me in Sunday school at Second Presbyterian in the early 1950s. She was a wonderful woman.

We are so sorry to hear of Sara's passing. She was one of the first people we met when we first went to 2nd church as they met in the school on Menchville Road. She was always cheerful and smiling as she greeted the new comers. One of the true faithful!
Sincerely,
Carol Clements

Having grown up with Taylor and Tommy, I was never far from her hospitality and no-nonsense manner. She will be missed by all she came in contact with and it was easy to tell she loved people. Through the years My Mother and Father had maintained a close friendship with Sara Vaughn. We can hope that she will join Wingfield and that should provide comfort for us all!
