Larry,Sandy and Roberta, please accept my sincere condolences on your dad's passing. Sam was the consummate gentleman. When my dad and I opened our pro shop back in the late 70's we were pleasantly surprised at the help and assistance your dad gave us. We always tried to tune in to his "Ten Pin Tattler" show every week. We were even fortunate enough to be mentioned by him on several broadcasts and it was always a thrill. Your dad had the knack for making one feel welcomed like an old friend. I'm sorry about the delay in this message but I promise you that your dad is and has been in our prayers. God bless you all.

Sam was a beloved friend for most of my life. He was incredibly generous, a great listener, charming and a true "champion" of bowling. He is probably setting pins or reporting scores for those souls fortunate enough to be inside the Pearly Gates.

Larry, Sandy, Roberta, please accept our condolences on the loss of your father. Having worked for Mr. Weinstein for 42 years, he became more than just a "boss" but a real friend of our family.

I have good memories of my dealings with Sam as a customer of his for many years. Always helpful, a good coach, great sense of humor and all around good guy. The world was a better place because of him.

My father(Ray 'Speed' Olsen) and I would like to extend our condolences to the family of Sam Weinstein.
My dad had the pleasure of working for Mr. Weinstein at Universal from 1952 to around 1970 and said those were the best times of his career.Sam was such a nice man who treated everyone with respect.
I also had the pleasure of meeting Mr. Weinstein when I was allowed to come to work with my dad a few times at the downtown store.I was about 12 or 13 and they'd put me to work assembling trophies or sweeping up.Mr. Weinstein would give me a check at the end of the day just as if I were one of his guys.Just a terrific man.
He will be missed-Ray & Jeff Olsen

Sam was a great boss. I worked for him 25 years and he never made going to work a drag. He was always telling us jokes. He was always there for all of us and very understand when you had to leave work for some reason or another. I used to have to bring my kids to work with me every once in a while and he never minded he would always find something for them to do and tell them what a great job they did. And when he didn't see them for a while he would ask how they were doing. We all really Loved him very much and will miss him. May you rest in peace Sam and god watch over you.
Love

Sam was a great man and a long time friend to two generations of my family.
I met him when I joined Brunswick's Bowling Division,at the start of my 40-year career with the Company, and we remained friends throughout that time (and beyond).
My parents, along with Sam and Edith, were the foundations of the same social group/"investment club" for many years; and I have many fond memories that arose from their friendship.
When my father was in a nursing home for the final year of his life, Sam was his most faithful visitor.
When we held an 85th Birthday Party for my mother (as it turned out, just weeks before she passed away), Sam made it an even more special event, whenn he announced it on his "Tenpin Tattler" program (and then came to the party, as soon as he had signed off).
(He also did the same thing for Penny and I, when his "Tenpin Tattler" announcement made our marriage something of a media event.)
He will be missed.
