My sincerest sympathy for all of Sam's family. He will truly be missed. Sam had a gift for making life and work fun. He could always find humor in the simplest of tasks. My favorite memory is when I was going to Belgium for the first time. I stopped by to ask him, "the expert", advice on the "important" things to see/do as my time was limited there. He not only gave me a LONG list but assigned points to each. I think counting the steps up the Belfry was the cruelest. With help from some of our friends that were still over there, I managed to collect all the points except the 100 point task of convincing Betsy to stay in Belgium another year and the 50 point task pushing Peggy off the boat during our canal tour. I couldn't afford to have my tour guides abandon me! : ) I will always remember Sam fondly and know that he is at peace. I hope that all his friends and family find that peace as well.
