Ah, Sam: Since we met you at Parr Financial you were the person that would call it like it was. I am so very glad you and Gene played tennis, it got him out of my hair! My daughter, Carena always remembered that you gave her tootsie roll pops when she came into your office. We could go a long time without seeing each other, but when we did it was like we never missed a beat, because your were that infectious soul that was always happy, witty, funny and loving. Of course, some times there were cuss words too, but we would laugh after.... The friendship and Spirit of you is mine now and forever. " I serve, I do good to all people, I shall not fear, I am healed by the joy of your life." Rest in Peace, my love. "The pure in heart shall see God, which you will and of course be able to watch all the sports you want. Caio, Sam

Sam: When Ken discovered you we were in deep need at tax time. From that time on we enjoyed seeing you if only once a year to enjoy a cup of coffee and talk. After Ken was gone I enjoyed your bear hug when I came in to see you. You will truly be missed my friend.

Sammy, it's your baby girl here, you know, one of Adeline's kids! What can I say? Me and you have a lot of special memories, especially my wedding (even though you wished it, they didn't put our dance on youtube). Working together for 30 plus years was not easy feat, but we did it! Sam, Deb, and Diane..the three Musketeers as you described it. You pushed us to have the same work ethic as you, so we are trying to make you proud. Yes, will work and dance until midnight if we have to! Dad, you gave me some good advice over the years, so I have that to tap into every now and then. Thanks for the love, laughs, and swearing. I will love and miss you always, your Di-Dee

Sam,
Anyone can be a father, but it takes someone special to be a dad, and that's why I call you dad. You were there for us whenever we needed you, you offered guidance, gave support, and loved us unconditionally (even when it wasn't deserved). The pain we feel and the hole left in our hearts by your absence will never be repaired. I never said it enough, but I love you and thanks for everything.
