We're so saddened by this loss. Sam was a good friend to Joe & Claire and a fine gentleman. We'll miss him.

we are quite surprised to read this yesterday. We always enjoyed the families' thanksgiving dinners. Sam lived his life as a true gentleman

Sammy was very special person. He went to all the family events since I can remember. My thoughts are with you and your family during this hard time.

Sam was quite the man! A true gentleman, very knowledgeable, extremely fair and kind and I never heard him say a disparaging word about anybody. Not a lot of ninty-plus year olds, can through life and stay as pleasant and until recently, as sharp and healthy...Take this in the kindest way- Sam sort of reminded me of "Carl" in the move UP

We offer our condolences. One promise we look forward to is at Job 33:25: "let his flesh become fresher than in youth, let him return to the days of his youthful vigor".

Sam was a wonderful grandfather to our daughter-in-law and a wonderful great grandfather to our grandson Mason. I loved his stories and admired him so much for the wonderful care he took of his ailing wife. We are blessed for having known him.
