Axler, Samuel age 81, born in Brooklyn, NY, Sergeant in the Army during WWII, died October 12th, in Atlanta, GA, beloved husband of Beatrice Axler for 58 years, loving father of Barry (Morene) Axler of Chicago, IL, Phil (Elaine) Axler of Manchester, CT, Toby (Russ) Winer of NYC, Gail (Seth) Agata of Kinderhook, NY and Joel (Louise Short) Axler of Atlanta, GA, dear brother of Bobby, Sylvia and Arlene, adored grandfather of 11 and great-grandfather of one. Graveside services were held on October 14th, at Arlington Memorial Park, Atlanta, GA. Memorial contributions may be made to friends of the Israel Defense Forces, 11 S.
