Butera, Sadie
Sadie Butera, 92, a longtime resident of Rondout, passed away peacefully at her home on October 6, 2021. Sadie lived life to the fullest and is remembered for throwing the best birthday parties at her house. Family meant the world to her, and she was always there for each of her 5 children. Sadie was filled with joy and she loved to share that with everyone. We will dearly miss her.
Sadie is survived by her loving children Fran (Oscar) Gonzalez, Nick (Shelly) Butera, and Josephine (Glenn Sr.) Simpson; 7 dearest grandchildren; and 6 darling great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband Jasper and her children Rose and Frank.
Visitation for Sadie will be held from 4:00-8:00pm Thursday Oct 14th at McMurrough Funeral Chapel, 101 Park Pl, Libertyville. Funeral Mass will be held 10:30am Friday Oct 15th at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 121 E Maple Ave, Libertyville. Interment to follow at St. Joseph Cemetery, River Grove.
