Ruth F. Lindgren


Dover-Ruth F. Lindgren, 84, died Saturday, January 31, 2004 in Dover at the Wentworth Douglass Hospital after a period of failing health.

She was born in Bradford, PA on January 28, 1920, the daughter of the late Alpha and Mabel (Sloan) Flagg. Before moving to Dover in 1981, Ruth previously lived in Pennsylvania, New York, New Jersey, and Massachusetts.

Survivors include her husband of 19 years, Robert R. Lindgren of Dover; two sons, Douglas F. Jewell and his wife Joyce of Cape May Court House, NJ and Gary R. Jewell and his wife Sheryl of South Dennis, MA; a daughter, Sandra J. Bailey and her husband Charles of Northfield; six grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her first husband, Robert A. Jewell in 1979 and a sister Helen Goehring in 2000. There will be no calling hours. A graveside service will be held at a later date at the Ridgewood Cemetery in North Andover, MA.
