Dear Nancy, We have wonderful memories of Ruth on the beach, walking in the water. Tim has told me wonderful stories of summers and lunches at your home. I am so sorry that the weather did not cooperate today, as I was planning on attending the memorial. Please extend our condolences to your family.

Dear Bremner Family, Rob and I had planned to come to memorial today but the snow storm scared us off. We're really sorry we will miss seeing you so next summer lets don our white button down shirts and our hats and stroll together in the lake and share some memories of a very lovely lady. Your mom was so gracious, from letting me as a bored teenager hit tennis balls against the wall for hours to hosting God knows how many beach events... She was a humble, intelligent, talented, and well traveled lady but she was so modest no one would know what she had seen or accomplished unless you asked her directly. Your mom was also very kind. As a neighbor I never heard her gossip or talk ill of anyone, but at the same time she had a wry sense of humor and could laugh eccentricities off. We will miss our friend and celebrate a life well lived!

Nancy so sorry about Ruth!! I will cherish our dinners with Ruth and Bob. All the best during this time.. You are always in my thoughts... Special prayers will be coming your way from the Half Family!

To the Bremner and Ray families - I met Ruth upon my joining the Vi residency two and a half years ago, and spent time in her company at the Tuesday Art class. I liked her demeanor, her friendly smile, and was impressed with her paintings and painting ability. I am sorry that I did not get to know her better, and saddened that after a fall she moved to line at the Vi Care Center. May you fine condolence in memories and the many beautiful paintings that Ruth left behind.

Nancy, We were saddened to hear of your mom's passing. I knew her since I was 5 at the beach, and thought nothing but the best of her, so warm and friendly to all. Peggy and I are thinking of you & family.
