I just heard about Rudy's passing. We were friends in High School, he went to DeLaSalle with my brother, he was in the band and I on the PomPom squad. We had lots of fun. I haven't talked to Rudy since he attended Bradley, but I've thought about him on occassion over the years as he was a true gentleman. I am so sorry to hear of his passing. My condolensce?? to his family. He will always have a special place in my heart. Rudy, R.I.P.

Paula,
I am so sorry about Rudy. With heartfelt sympathy to you and the Comeaux family.

It has been a long time...
I was a classmate of Rudy's at St. Dorothy's and attended AOL with you.

Two years ago, I met your aunt [Adalena Comeaux] at a luncheon in Phoenix. I recognized the name and knew you were related somehow. I informed her that I knew you and Rudy and asked about you guys. It's a small world!

An old friend just wanted to let you know that you and your family will be in my thoughts and prayers.

Rudy did beautiful and generous plastering work in our co-op building in Hyde Park. I wanted to express our deepest sympathy to Rudy's family and friends. He was a craftsman and artist whose work was a living expression of the unique history of the plastering craft as it was developed and passed along by black plasterers whose work contributed to making New Orleans such a beautiful city.
