Not sure what to say?

February 18, 2018

Mr. Presslak helped our son with some bullying issues at St. Pat's. I was so grateful for his understanding and sensitivity in the matter. I have missed him since he left St. Pat's. I wish your family peace at this sad time.

Dear Rudy,
You exemplified what a teacher is. You spoke to me as an equal, from the heart. You taught me stuff that has helped me through life - how to laugh, when to get serious, and how to bring out the best in each other. I felt your genuine concern for my well being and that of others.
Thank you fro embracing my Otto persona and 'assigning' me a column in St. Pat's newspaper. I like to think you were one of my biggest fans but I'll bet there are a lot of us who feel that same way.
I'm sorry this thank you is a little late. I have always remembered you as my favorite teacher and will continue to do so.
Love,
Otto

It saddened both of us to hear about Rudy's passing away. We will always remember what a wonderful man he was. The thing we remember most is he always had a smile on his face and a warm dimenor in his voice.

Had we known about his passing we would have definately paid our respects in person. However, we don't make it to St. Joe's as often as we used to, so we just got the news yesterday.

We offer you our deepest sympathy for we know what your family is going through as we lost my Dad a few months ago. I prayed with your Dad on Sat. 11/26 when I was delivering the Eucharist at Res. Hospital. Our prayers are with you.

Ken,

So sorry to hear about your Dad. It's been many years but I still remember him well. He was always very nice to me and I'll always have fond memories of him.

Please give my best to all of your family and accept the sympathy from my family. We lost my Dad earlier this year so I know how you feel at this time. Take care of your Mom.

With sympathy,

Mike

Dear Elsie and family,

My heartfelt sympathy to you and your dear family on Rudy's death. I am truly sorry that I will not be able to pay my respects in person at the funeral home because of prior commitments.

I will never forget Rudy's pleasantness to everyone with whom he made contact in all our year's at St. Joseph's. He was indeed a pillar in our church and will be sorely missed.

My deepest sympathy to you during this trying time.
