Ruby Keith Obituary

Keith, Ruby Lee., 93, a resident of Montgomery, Alabama, and native of Crenshaw County, Alabama, passed away March 16, 2013. Visitation will held at 1:00 p.m. and Funeral service at 2:00 p.m., March 19, 2013, at Leak Memory Chapel, with Rev. Larry Armstrong officiating. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ulysses Woodrow Keith; four brothers George Petty, A. D. Petty, Clarence Petty, Grady Petty and two sisters, Exa Sexton and Irene York. She is survived by a son, Bruce Nichols (Betty), two step-sons, Linwood Keith (Dot), Atlanta, Georgia and Frank Keith (Donna), Eclectic, Alabama; a sister, Annie Best ( Montgomery, Alabama); two grandchildren, Trudi Nichols and Traci Nichols ; five step-grandchildren, Jonathan Keith (Colleen), Kathryn Keith, Adam Keith, Jeffrey Keith (Theresa), Ashley Curry (Ben); several great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends. Special thanks to her niece, Martha Bice, Montgomery, Alabama, the staff and caregivers at Crowne Rehabilitation and Comfort Care Hospice for their care and devotion. The family requests that donations be made to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation in her memory.
