I am so sorry to hear about the loss of Roy. I have many fond memories of all the high school dances, the blue Corvair, and "Uncle Roy", to "Cindy" the monkey ... he was so proud! (I'll never forget that Chris and Arlene had to cut a "hole" in disposable diapers to slide them down her tail to put them on her). I'll also never forget the time that Roy and I were eating dinner at your parents' house ... it was just Roy and I eating at the time in the kitchen. Roy put gravy all over his potatoes, meat, and whatever else was on his plate. Then your mom walked in and said "Roy! I didn't know you were so crazy about my pear sauce!" He looked at his plate drenched in pear sauce and said "Pear sauce! I thought it was gravy!" I'll never forget the bright orange Camaro that Roy painted for your cousin, -- that we got to use for one of the dances! ...and the motorcycle trips! (We were just "too cool" in those days ...).
May the thoughts and prayers of those around you... with your wonderful memories, carry you through the upcoming days.
Would Mary Ellen please e-mail me at her convenience. Thank you.
Sincerely, Shelly Lundquist-Swanson
