RoxAnne Rochester Obituary

I miss you mom. It’s been over 10 years without you. Your guidance, warm smile, and tender love are irreplaceable in mine and Dominic’s lives. I don’t know what else to say other than I love you and I wonder what you would’ve thought about how me and Dom turned out.

Roxanne was a classmate from elementary school all the way through high school in Northbrook. She was such a sweet, kind person. I did not learn of her passing until just today. I know it's late, but very sorry to hear.

You have my deepest sympathy. I just got this sad news. She touched so many lives and will surely missed by all her family and friends; and never forgotten.

I was so saddened to hear about RoxAnne, but know with confidence that she is in a place of healing and peace. My husband Patrick and I worked with RoxAnne on the Justice Initiative at Old St. Pat's and her passion for making the world a better place was always on display. An amazing gift to the world.

RoxAnne, I have known you since the 6th grade. You always were so positive, energetic, and had the biggest smile. I have thought of you often and was looking forward to the next reunion in hopes we could catch up. Know that you have impacted this world in a wonderful and positive way. You will be missed by all. My deepest condolences to your beautiful sons and family. I found several letters you wrote when we were younger and close with what you wrote me: God Bless You. Be at peace.

My deepest sympathy to the entire Rochester family! I am so sad to hear about Roxanne. Of course I have many fond memories of Roxanne and cherish all the fun times we all had together living on the cul de sac as next door neighbors.

My heart goes out to John, Dominic and the Rochester family. Rox was a close friend, ex-roommate and trusted advisor. She was always a bight light with a sharp wit, great sense of humor and big heart. She was tireless. Always stretching herself too the limit. Always putting others before herself. All because she had this incredible sense of responsibility to and caring for the people she loved, giving back to the community, helping the disadvantaged and to her career. Rox, you've always taken care of others. Now it's your time to get some peace and rest in the arms of our Lord. You will be missed immeasurably, but never forgotten.

We are so very sorry to hear of the news about Roxanne. You and Roxanne were the first friends that we met at the FXW welcome night for our children going to Pre-School. Your family has always held a special place in our hearts. We will always cherish her smile and warm welcoming hugs when she greeted us. She is, and will forever be, an incredible inspiration regarding how we should all maintain our faith, to spread the word of Christ and to live our lives in the ways of Christ, regardless of the pain and fear we endure. I was saddened by this news yet I know Roxanne will be a guiding light in each of our lives going forward just as she was when she was here with us. I had the pleasure of knowing her since we were 11 years old and in the 6th grade and from that day forward she was a blessing to know and love!! She was always at the top of our class and had a great sense of humor and was adored by all. She will be greatly missed.
