Dearest Jack and family.....
How sudden and sorrowful the loss of your dear Rosemary. Her legacy is one of true love and devotion to her family and many friends...full of joy and Faith. I pray that God blesses you with strength and enlightenment, and that He dispatches a band of Angels to your side to comfort you in your journey along the pathway of bereavement. Remember, Rosemary is only a whisper away.
Fondly,
Mary Ellen (Ervin) Baker

Dear Mr Joyce and family, My family and I send our sympathy and will be praying for you and Mrs. Joyce. What a kind and caring person she was. She helped welcome us to Oak Park and to the block and to Ascension parish community. Then along the years she passed along recipes that became family favorites (and were a part of many of our birthdays), school uniforms, Campbell soup labels, babysitters and so much more. Always there for her family, for her grandchildren and for her neighbors. Some of the last great block parties on Gunderson were also planned and coordinated with her care and dedication. I had not seen her in a number of years until a recent Ascension Feast Day at Ascension Church. She remembered my name and was thrilled to meet my small children. It was a beautiful spring day that we enjoyed talking outside along the church much like the day she was born into eternal life. thank you Lord for giving so many people Rosemary!

Such fond memories of Mrs. Joyce and spending time in the lovely Gunderson home. First as Terry's lifelong classmate and friend. And then again, with Larry as the (yikes!) parent. Ah, how things come around. And what a delightful family. I think the sardonic wit and wry smilethat all of the Joyce children possess emanated from Mrs. Joyce (well, maybe some from Mr. as well). Good bye to a fine woman who left behind a great family.

To all my cousins- It was sad to hear of Rosemary's passing. She was a very special aunt. We looked forward to her visits to Loogootee every year when all of you were young. . She was a gracious hostess and was always happy to see members of her southern Indiana family. A special thanks to Pat for keeping us informed of her health.
I feel bad than I am unable to attend the visitation and funeral but was unable to find anyone availabe to drive me there. Rosemary was always good at attending funerals, wedding, etc whenever possible.
I will keep all of you and your father in my prayers.

Your mother was like a second mother to me. I loved the down to earth wisdom she shared. I will always remember our talks in the kitchen or on the front porch. She always had a smile and was always cheerful and loving. I will really miss "Mom Joyce".
