I do not know where to even start. I want to wish my deepest condolences to the Crnjak family. Mrs. Crnjak you will forever be missed. I still remember that you fought for me and helped me get into my dream high school, Gwendolyn Brooks College Prep Academy. You believed in me and you never stopped fighting for me. You made sure, and you even went out of your way, that I got into Gwendolyn Brooks College Prep. I was heart broken when I had found out the news. You will forever be in my heart and you will forever be missed.

Dear Crnjak Family,
I met Rose when she joined the cohart group that met at George Washington High School for her Type 75 certificate from Chicago State University and you had to love Rose when you first met her and I did! She always had a smile and so full of energy. I loved her spunk and her sense of humor. She will be truly missed by me and those that knew her at George Washington High School. You all are in my prayers. May God comfort you and bless you all.

I am not sure where to start. Rose and I have had many, many wonderful years together. As teenagers, young mothers and co-workers. We had so much in common and so many years of laughter and joy. She always had my back. I like to call her "my wingman". We joked about being old lady teachers together. Whatever she did, she did with joy and ethusasim. No one worked harder and made it look easier than my Rose. As a teacher there was no one who cared more, or worked harder for her students. Our Gallistel community will never be able to fill her void. I will miss her each and everyday. I feel very lucky to know that she will be watching over us with her beautiful smile.
My deepest sympathy to all of her family. She will be greatly missed.

Dan, Selina, Elise, Mrs. Coci, Frankie, Sarah and Johnny,
In my heart Rose will never be gone. She was my best friend since birth. Growing up we did almost everything together. I remember getting a pixie haircut because we wanted to look alike. There were times we dressed alike. It's funny because we surely didn't look alike (I was taller). Rose would always pinch my cheeks and put me in a headlock. These are the memories that I shall cherish always. I want to thank all of you for sharing Rose with me.I know that Rose will be watching over all of us every single day. I finally met my guardian angel. I love you Rose and I will miss you.

Mr. Crnjak, Selina and Elise,
I send my heartfelt sympathies to all of you. It has been years since I left St. Cajetan, but there are families that as a teacher will forever remain in my memory. Your family is definitely one of those special families. Girls, I remember how very proud your Mom always was of each of you. She took pride in always being there for you and making sure you were getting and giving your best in life. I will keep all of you in my prayers.
I know that your Mom will forever be watching over you. She was a fun and energetic person whom I will remember fondly.
May God bless you during this difficult time.
Love, Kathy Tomaszewski

Dear Crnjak & Coci Families,
“ How far you go in life depends on your being tender with the young, compassionate with the aged, sympathetic with the striving, and tolerant of the weak and the strong – because someday in life you will have been all of these.“ Rosie was all of this and so much more with all the hats she wore, all that she conquered in her short life, all of the lives her beautiful little body touched in big ways, all the fond memories, laughs and warmth she shared by her outreach. I always thought Rosie was flawless and loved her energizer-bunny speedy spirit. She always wanted to know what kind of vacations or mischief Judy Wags and I were tangled in and never missed a beat with the details. I hadn’t seen Rosie in a few years but did have the fortunate pleasure of running into her great smile this past October. She was always so excited, made everyone feel very special and always zipping around with open arms. What an accomplished classic woman and a tragic loss for everyone.
My deepest sympathy to all of you and praying that her good energy she shared in life will strengthen your sorrowful days ahead. She will be deeply missed but remembered always! Love & Prayers,
Cindy Garza (Ostoich)

I am truly saddened by the news of your loss. I had so many laughs with Rose when we used to drive from high school downtown to our first jobs as young ladies at the Harris Bank. We had lost touch many years ago but I still laugh when I think of some of our antics. My deepest sympathies to all of you. She was truly a wonderful person and the impact of her passing is astounding. She will be missed. God bless you all.

To Danny, Selina and Elise and the Coci's,
My deepest sympathies to you. I can’t recall ever feeling as startled, and saddened at the same time, as when this news came from a friend this weekend. Stop saying those words. It seems to me that even people that never met Rose might sense that the world just got a little drabber.
When I think of Rose, I see laughter, jokes, energy abounding. Rose, created fun and made a room brighter. She was interested in everything that crossed her path and was just so witty and fun and bright. I feel honored to have known her and I hope that life will be kind enough to you Selina and Elise and Dan, to Mrs. Coci, Frankie, Sarah, Johnny – that her light will continue to shine in all of you as well as all of us that knew her. I haven’t spent more than 10 minutes with Rose in the past 17 years, and yet I feel an overwhelming loss at her sudden passing. It’s a very special soul that would affect people in that way.
Rose loved cake. So when I see (chocolate) cake, I’ll give a thought to her. And when I see a Volkswagen bug, I’ll think of her too. And when I see Carm, and Bonnie, Denise, Karen and Patty – I’ll always think of Rose. She’ll never be totally gone from anyone who knew her.

My heart and prayers goes out to all of you. I just saw her at the reunion in September. She was still her bubbly, and friendly little self just as she was 30 years ago. We will all miss her dearly. I pray that God gets you all through this trying time.
God Bless you all,

Selina & Elise,
I knew your Mom best when we were just about your age- high school and some years afterward. Even though I had not spoken with her in years, she left an indelible mark on my life, & I have so many great memories of time spent with her...it's through my memories and those of so many others that her spirit will live on.
Be brave & supportive of each other; be as close to each other as she and your Aunt Sara; smile & laugh often girls-just like your Mom; be very proud of her and all that she's meant to so many people through out her short life on earth and may you find peace in all of your memories of your beautiful Mother.
My deepest sympathy...

Dear Danny, Selina, Elise, Mrs. Coci, Frankie, Sara, and Johnny,
No words could express our family's symapathy for your loss. The news of her passing has been devastating. I will always remember how much fun and happiness Rose brought to everyone. She was always so funny and upbeat. I don't know why God took her so soon, but he must have needed her for a greater purpose. She was very proud of all of you and her love for you is eternal. I know she will be watching over all of you and I know she will continue to be proud. There are no words I could offer to give you comfort at this time, but you are all in our thoughts and prayers. I will never forget Rosemary and will always have fond memories of her.

Dan, Selina, and Elise,
It has been years since I have seen all of you, but Rosemary was part of many memories I have from St George School and O'Hara's. Rose was always, kind, enthusiastic, and happy. Rose made everyone around her feel special. She was always proud of her girls, and I know she will live on through both of you. My sympathy to all of you.

She was a Rose like no other. So full of life. So happy. So Positive. Always busy. Always involved with something. She loved her family immensely. Her passing creates a void that will be hard to fill. I am so glad to have called her my friend for 30 plus years. She will be missed.

What a huge loss to your family and everyone that knew Rose - she always was helping others, had a beautiful heart, was so high energy and go-go-go...we had just spoken last week about FINALLY getting together after the first of the year to get all caught up...20 years have gone by since we began working together and it is devastating that we let four years go by since our last visit. The consolation for me is that this wonderful woman did not suffer in the end of her life!! LONG LIVE ROSE in our hearts and all she succeeded in and represented!! Dan, Selina and Elise, you will be in my hearts and prayers! Love, Cathy Marderosian

I am so sorry to hear about Rosemary. My sympathies go out to your family. Rosemary and I were "best friends" until I moved when I was 6 and, ironically, I was just reminiscing about that friendship with my 7-year old daughter last week. Though we have not seen each other in years, my parents still saw Rosemary from time to time and spoke of what a beautiful and vibrant woman she was. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

Dear Dan, Selina and Elise; The memories of watching Rose grow from childhood to a vivacious, loving, happy adult will always remain a treasured memory. She and my daughter shared so many moments from the time they were toddlers on Avenue L. Her caring continued even now as she had her 'kids' collecting pop tabs for RMH. Her smile was the brightest, her hugs the best and her sincerity the most genuine. Rose will be in our hearts forever. Ron and Barbara Serpe

30 years passed between times I spent with Rose. At our class reunion last September this gap in time was filled. How wonderful it was to laugh with Rose, share very fond memories, and enlighten a dormant friendship. These few passing moments we spent together, has etched a passage of life upon me. I cannot cry when I think of Rose. She still manages to make me smile, and feel good about myself. Thank you, Rose, my friend.

Dan, Selina and Elise,
I received a new address book for Christmas, and as I entered your address yesterday, I reflected upon what beautiful young women Elise and Selina had become and how lucky I was to have known Rose. She was wonderful to me at the law firm and I was fortunate to have worked with her. She was so energetic and always working toward a goal. She was inspirational in her attitude and most of all, she loved her family. I was devastated to read her obituary, and know that you will miss her deeply. I know that Rose will always be watching over you and most of all, that she will always be proud of you.
