Rosemarie was my principal at Indiana School. Her brilliant approach to children and learning and her rapport with her staff were superb. She touched my life and I have been blessed always by her with her sparkling smile.

Dearest Carroll and Bova families,
When my sister married into the Provenzano family we became apart of that family. I've been to many family gatherings; and since my sister Theresa and brother-in-law Aug lived so close, I saw all of the Carroll family even more. My memories are all fond loving ones! Rosemarie like her sisters, brother and parents, always had smiles on their faces, both on their lips and in their eyes. I know she will be missed, but she will always be in your hearts and our memories.
With deepest sympathy and prayers.

Dr. B & Bridgette, I am so so sorry to have heard the news about Rosemarie. I have had the pleasure to know her and truely enjoyed each and every visit and the time I spent with her in my salon. She is a very special lady. Through my eyes, just a few words to describe her...Witty, pretty, classy, concerned, energetic, unselfish, easy to be with & talk with. I had the pleasure to know this wonderful lady. Thank You! Dr. B, take care of yourself & Bridgette. Thinking of you both.

Mom and I are absolutely heart broken to hear this sad, sad news. After tears, we began reminicing of sooooo many happy, wonderful times when living in Thornton,....and our families shared many. Distant cousins we might have been, but in generation measures only. You are in our thoughts and prayers. The love you always so openly shared as a family will give you the strength you will need at this time. Please know our hearts are broken too.
May God bless all of you.

To the family of Rosemarie Carroll,
We were so very sorry to hear of your loss. Rosemarie will be remembered by the children and parents of District 118 as an administrator who was all about the children. I met her when I worked with the District 118 PFA. She always had a smile on her face and a few minutes to say hello to a fellow Rose as she called me. I didn't know her when she was a classroom teacher, but I am sure she was a life changing teacher for many children who will remember her forever as will I and my family.

Rosemarie was a special friend and colleague. Prior to my coming to Illinois as a school administrator, Rosemarie and I knew each other through our mutual involvement in the Mid American Association of School Superintendents. Recently, we have worked together on the Executive Committee of the Superintendent's Roundtable of Northern Illinois. Rosemarie was currently serving as our President and was beloved by our more than 300 members. Words that come to mind as I remember Rosemarie are: smart, determined, leader, dignified, compassionate and friend. I did not have the opportunity to know those in her immediate family, yet, I know how important each of you were to her as she spoke of you so very often. She will be dearly missed by me and her many, many colleagues in education. Please know that you in her family are in my sincerest thoughts - and prayers. Take care. Dave Clough, Superintendent of Schools, Libertyville High School District.

We are sorry for your loss. Rosemarie was a great woman. You won't remember us, but when Rose was a young girl in high school and later in college she sang with Dave's band. We even have a picture of her in her wedding gown singing at her own wedding. We have many happy memories of our times together. Our prayers are with you all.

To the family, friends, and colleagues of Rosemarie Carroll: It is with great sadness that we learned of Rosemarie's illness and death. I worked for her at Strassburg School in District 168. She was the only truly knowledgeable administrator ever to have graced those halls. She had it all...Love of children, effective skills, respect for teachers. We'd have cloned her if we could. In missing her, we could at least feel she was SOMEwhere helping education to advance and thrive. Her life in this world has been too short.
We will remember her, and you, in
our prayers.

We will dearly miss our cousin Rosemarie. Growing up only a block away, we shared a lot of wonderful times together. Rosemarie touched many of us with her lovely voice as she often sang at family gatherings, especially our traditional Christmas Eve sing-along.
Our hearts and prayers go out to Rosemarie's entire family during this time of sorrow, as we all mourn her passing. We pray that Rosemarie will find comfort, peace and eternal life in God's Heavenly Kingdom.
Rosemarie, we love you and will miss you. Our Deepest Sympathy to the family.
