Rose Mermelstein Obituary
Mermelstein, Rose (nee Moskovitz) passed away Friday April 25 at the age of 88. Beloved wife of the late Jerome, cherished mother of Lawrence (Barbara) and the late Eileen, loving and very special Grammy Rose to Jordan and Dori, fond sister of Etta (Jack) Wender and Regina Soloman of California, she is preceded in death by her brothers Victor Moss, Moishe Rimmer and her sister Helen Roth, caring aunt and great aunt, friend to many and forever in our hearts. Chapel service Monday 2:30 p.m. at Shalom Memorial Funeral Home, 1700 W. Rand Road, Arlington Heights. Interment Shalom Memorial Park. Rose and I had many hours of reminiscences when we were in Cardiac Rehab together. We missed her when she went to the nursing home. She and I were always trying to find a common relative among the Mermelsteins. My cousin was married to Sam Asher whose first wife was a Mormolstein. Alas we never did find the connection. Please accept my sincerest condolences, Rose was a great gal.

I am so sorry to here about your loss.I'm sure she was a good person.In the Bible it talks about those who die will have a resurrection.God loved her very deeply,and he loves you very deeply too.

I have such great memories of your mom. I remember showing up for lunch a couple of days each week on my way home from law school. She was so much fun and always had great stories to share. Sue and my boys join me in sending our condolences.
