Govostis, Rose G. (nee Katsiroubas), beloved wife of Thomas S. Govostis, retired C.P.D., loving mother of William T. and Gust T. (Kitsa) Govostis, cherished grandmother of Georgina and Roselyn Govostis, devoted daughter of the late Gust and Dena Katsiroubas, dear sister of Thomas (Mary Ann), Frank (Helen) Katsiroubas, Catherine (Albert) Kiwazek, and the late James (the late Penny) Katsiroubas, sister-in-law of Jenny (the late Walter) Elbers and William S. Govostis, fond aunt of many. Visitation Tuesday from 4:00 to 9:00 p.m. at Smith-Corcoran Funeral Home, 185 E. Northwest Highway, Palatine, IL. Family and friends will meet Wednesday morning at St. Nectarios Greek Orthodox Church, 133 S. Roselle Road, Palatine, IL 60067 for funeral service at 11:00 a.m. Interment Elmwood Cemetery.
